A palestra promovida pela disciplina Biogeografia, do Programa de P\u00f3s-Gradua\u00e7\u00e3o em Biodiversidade Vegetal (PPGBVeg), aborda a import\u00e2ncia das florestas tropicais para a regula\u00e7\u00e3o global do clima e para a conserva\u00e7\u00e3o da biodiversidade. Para discutir sobre o assunto, a palestra conta com a participa\u00e7\u00e3o do pesquisador doutor, Douglas Daly do New York Botanical Garden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A atividade tem como p\u00fablico alvo estudantes de gradua\u00e7\u00e3o e p\u00f3s-gradua\u00e7\u00e3o da \u00e1rea da biodiversidade, al\u00e9m de professores e profissionais com foco de atua\u00e7\u00e3o na bot\u00e2nica.
