Logo a sua fam\u00edlia se transferiu para Senhor do Bonfim, onde ela passou toda a sua vida, no casar\u00e3o ainda existente na rua Manoel Vitorino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mulher de fibra, liderou muitos movimentos na esfera pol\u00edtica e de assist\u00eancia social. Trouxe para Bonfim a Legi\u00e3o Brasileira de Assist\u00eancia, a qual esteve a frente por muitos anos. Foi tamb\u00e9m dirigente da Associa\u00e7\u00e3o de Prote\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 Maternidade e a Inf\u00e2ncia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De fam\u00edlia tradicionalmente pol\u00edtica, liderou muitas campanhas que beneficiaram a popula\u00e7\u00e3o bonfinense. Esther Gon\u00e7alves sempre se posicionou em defesa dos necessitados, usando inclusive da sua energia pessoal para defend\u00ea-los, na base do custe o que custar.
