Foram confirmados casos deste subtipo em 45 munic\u00edpios, com \u00f3bitos em nove deles: Salvador (12), Apuarema (1), Cama\u00e7ari (1), Irar\u00e1 (1), Lauro de Freitas (1), Retirol\u00e2ndia (1), Sa\u00fade (1), Serrinha (1) e Vit\u00f3ria da Conquista (1). De acordo com a Sesab, a faixa et\u00e1ria de maior ocorr\u00eancia (60%) ficou entre os menores de cinco anos e maiores de 60.
