De madrugada, voltou de novo ao Templo. Todo o povo se reuniu em volta dele. Sentando-se, come\u00e7ou a ensin\u00e1-los. Entretanto, os mestres da Lei e os fariseus trouxeram uma mulher surpreendida em adult\u00e9rio. Levando-a para o meio deles, disseram a Jesus: \u201cMestre, esta mulher foi surpreendida em flagrante adult\u00e9rio. Mois\u00e9s na Lei mandou apedrejar tais mulheres. Que dizes tu?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Perguntavam isso para experimentar Jesus e para terem motivo de o acusar. Mas Jesus, inclinando-se, come\u00e7ou a escrever com o dedo no ch\u00e3o. Como persistissem em interrog\u00e1-lo, Jesus ergueu-se e disse: \u201cQuem dentre v\u00f3s n\u00e3o tiver pecado, seja o primeiro a atirar-lhe uma pedra\u201d. E tornando a inclinar-se, continuou a escrever no ch\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>E eles, ouvindo o que Jesus falou, foram saindo um a um, a come\u00e7ar pelos mais velhos; e Jesus ficou sozinho, com a mulher que estava l\u00e1, no meio, em p\u00e9. Ent\u00e3o Jesus se levantou e disse: \u201cMulher, onde est\u00e3o eles? Ningu\u00e9m te condenou?\u201d Ela respondeu: \u201cNingu\u00e9m, Senhor\u201d. Ent\u00e3o Jesus lhe disse: \u201cEu, tamb\u00e9m, n\u00e3o te condeno.
