O Senhor nosso Deus \u00e9 o \u00fanico Senhor. Amar\u00e1s o Senhor teu Deus de todo o teu cora\u00e7\u00e3o, de toda a tua alma, de todo o teu entendimento e com toda a tua for\u00e7a! O segundo mandamento \u00e9: Amar\u00e1s o teu pr\u00f3ximo como a ti mesmo! N\u00e3o existe outro mandamento maior do que estes\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>O mestre da Lei disse a Jesus: \u201cMuito bem, Mestre! Na verdade, \u00e9 como disseste: Ele \u00e9 o \u00fanico Deus e n\u00e3o existe outro al\u00e9m dele. Am\u00e1-lo de todo o cora\u00e7\u00e3o, de toda a mente, e com toda a for\u00e7a, e amar o pr\u00f3ximo como a si mesmo \u00e9 melhor do que todos os holocaustos e sacrif\u00edcios\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Jesus viu que ele tinha respondido com intelig\u00eancia, e disse: \u201cTu n\u00e3o est\u00e1s longe do Reino de Deus\u201d.
